This is an interesting question, the power of the mind is definitely something I think we all underestimate. Is it possible that all these extraordinary skills people have could be learnt? Or are these skills simply unique to individuals who are born with these talents and abilities? Is it possible that if we simply believe that psychic ability is something you are born with that our mind would not allow us to be wrong by becoming aware of these abilities later in life?

Who has ever had an experience when they have had a gut feeling and acted on it? Nearly everyone right? But how many of those people said at that time hey I am psychic? Not so many right? So maybe it comes down by parts to what meanings and names we give to things. Is it simply serendipity, coincidence, luck! Or is it just possible that we all have the ability to be more aware of things around us? Is it possible that we can all learn to listen more to the wispers, the visions, the sounds and feelings that constantly surround us that many people can draw from? What does being psychic mean to you? What would it mean if everyone was psychic? Who has pretended something was not there because they knew what it would mean if it were?

I had an amazing experience earlier in the year when I went to a platform medium night and was lucky enough to be chosen for a reading. You see everything I was told I was aware of but I had never heard the words as were communicated to me through the medium. I was aware of how and where I was being guided although I had not had it communicated to me as clearly. I listen to the messages and the clues life presents me and live a guided life. Is it possible that if I believe with all my being I could develop this from not just hearing the hints but hearing the actual words guiding me? Is it simply how we process the information and represent it to ourselves that causes us to hear, see, experience it?

It is definitely an interesting question and it is simply not limited to just psychic ability, where else does this possible situation occur?
